Tanya Jawab Sertifikasi
Apa itu Sertifikasi?
Certification is a means for your company to show it meets internationally accepted standards of excellence.
Certification enables trust, and can smooth the way for new business ventures.
What can certification do for me?
Many government organisations are increasingly looking for their suppliers to meet certain standards in order to be selected for contracts.
Certification offers peace of mind: for your clients, and their customers. It’s easier for them to choose you, because they can rely on the quality of your work.
What can certification do for me for the future?
Certification supports you in taking your business forward. Bidding for the kind of contracts you want to secure. Expanding your operations to new markets abroad.
Potential business partners abroad will look for assurances too. By having an independently verifiable indication of the quality of your work, it offers more impact than testimonials alone.
What can certification do for my staff?
Certification offers internal benefits for organisations. It makes it easy to select a quality standard to work to, when it’s internationally recognised. This means it can be easier to get people on board: staff, stakeholders – and clients.
Certification can boost morale. It encourages progression in working practices. It also offers opportunities for continuous professional development (CPD), where staff get trained to carry out internal audits for your organisation.
Does it mean I have to start from scratch?
What kind of certifications are there?
Certifications are available for general management, whatever your sector (e.g. ISO 9001 Quality Management), and for the way you work with suppliers (SA8000 Social Accountability).
Some certifications will apply across a number of market sectors (e.g. ISO 27001 Information Security), others may be appropriate for individual markets (e.g. ISO 13485 Medical Devices).
What about certification if your sector changes?
New certifications being developed over time (e.g. ISO 50001 Energy Management).
At globalgroup, we work to identify what new certifications there are, and which will be the most useful for our clients.
How many countries do the certifications apply to?
Some certifications apply to a smaller number of countries (e.g. Machinery Directive EC 98 37 is for European Union countries); others are global in scope.
